Sangita Kalanidhi Aruna Sairam is an Indian classical vocalist and carnatic music singer. She is a recipient of the Padma Shri award from the Government of India and was elected as the Vice Chairman of the Sangeet Natak Academy (India's premier national institution for music and dance) by the Government of India until 2022.In 2011, Aruna was the first Carnatic musician to perform at the BBC proms in London. She is also the first Carnatic musician to perform in Oud Festival of Israel (Jerusalem).

Pandit Anindo Chatterjee was born on 30 May 1954 at Kashimpur Village, Duttapukur, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, a musical family. He completed his primary education from Kashimpur Primary School. After that he passed the secondary examination from Kashimpur High School. He is an Indian tabla player of the Farrukhabad gharana school. He was born into a musical family. Chatterjee is a disciple of Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh.

As director of the Farrukhabad gharana of Tabla, founded by Haji Vilayat Khan Saheb, Chatterjee continues to give new voice to his instrument. In addition to solo performances and recordings, Chatterjee has worked with sitar players Nikhil Banerjee, Imrat Khan, Budhaditya Mukherjee, Rais Khan, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Shahid Parvez, Manilal Nag and Krishna Bhatt; sarod players Buddhadev Das Gupta, Ali Akbar Khan, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, and Tejendra Narayan Majumdar; flutist Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia; santoor player Pandit Shivkumar Sharma; and vocalists Pandit Mallikarjun Mansur and Gangubai Hangal.
The recipient of the prestigious President's Award in 1970, Chatterjee became the first tabla player to perform in the House of Commons 20 years later. He performed at Rashtrapati Bhavan when U.S. President Barack Obama visited India in November 2010. Chatterjee received the Sangeet Natak Academy Award for 2002.
Pandit Anindo Chatterjee declined to receive the Padma Shri Award 2022.

Ajoy Chakrabarty was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. He was raised with his brother in Shyamnagar. His younger brother, Sanjay Chakrabarty, is a lyricist and composer.

He graduated top of his class in music, both in B.A and M.A. from the Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata and joined the ITC Sangeet Research Academy in 1978 as its first scholar. Today he is one of the senior most gurus of this academy.

His father, Ajit Chakrabarty, was his first Guru. He then studied with Pannalal Samanta, Kanaidas Bairagi and Jnan Prakash Ghosh.

Besides that, he had learnt from Latafat Hussain Khan, Nibruttibua Sarnaik, Hirabai Barodekar and in Carnatic styles from M. Balamuralikrishna, that kept enriching his musical expression and repertoire.Despite having such pure classical "taleem" in the Khyal genre, he also renders lighter forms such as Thumri, Tappa, Bhajan, Kirtan, Folk, Film/Non-Film and modern songs, in several different languages.

He has received several prestigious awards including the Padma Shri (2011), Sangeet Natak Akademi Award (Delhi, 1999–2000), Kumar Gandharva National Award (1993) and the Best Male Playback Singer Award (Bengali Film "Chhandaneer" 1990) ("For bringing the rare depth of emotion, adorned by his command on the classical idiom") and National Tansen Samman 2015 - by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.[8] He has also received felicitations from both the former and present Chief Ministers of his own State, West Bengal. In 2012, Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee conferred him the Maha Sangeet Samman and the Banga Bibhushan, two of the State's highest awards. In 2015 he has received Guru Jnan Prakash Ghosh Lifetime Achievement Award.

He also was awarded honorary citizenship in New Orleans, after performing with jazz musicians at Preservation Hall, the birthplace of jazz music.

Smt  Chandana Chakraborty was under the influence of the great  poet from her young age. From childhood she was blessed to  get acquaintance of Smt Kanika Bandhopadhyay and George Biswas at her house. She was awarded as the Gold medal student from Rabindra Bharati University. 
She is the wife of Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty and is blessed with two  children -  Kaushiki and Ananjan who are the aspiring musicians of the present generation.
