Description
For the adults, who could not get the opportunity to learn or get into the regular classes of Shrutinandan which is for children, Guruji conducts these Raag Ranjani classes, specially designed to teach Raag Music to all aspiring learners, from any age group.
What you will learn
- Voice Development
- Knowledge of Laya (Tempo)
- Taal (Time Cycle) and Chhanda (Rhythm)
- Basics of harmonium playing, taanpura playing, and understanding the Tabla
- Importance and Development of Pronunciation
- Introduction and detailed study of Raagas, Bandish and their development
- Introduction to different compositions of dhrupad, Thumri, Dadra, Bhajan, etc.

Course Requirement
Harmonium, Electronic/Digital or Manual Taanpura
Selection Process
Sessions start from January, of every year. Selection and admission of students are done within October to December. Although, if we have seats empty, one may join mid session.
Audition
No auditions required. Seats are booked on the first come first serve basis.

Description
Suro Ranjani is for all the students (basic and advanced both) who want to initiate and develop their performance skills. Here you will get acquainted with songs of different genres Thumri, Dadraa, Tappa, Raaga based, and other forms of Bengali songs, Bhajan and devotional songs, Rabindrasangeet, Nazrulgeeti, Shyamasangeet songs of D. L. Roy, great Rajanikanto jee and Atul Prasad jee.

- In-person Class with Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty
Guruji himself auditions each and every applicant. Since this is a 2.5 hrs offline session at Shrutinandan Institute, recording of the session will not be available
